Yesterday we posted an executive proposal (SIP-18) to unregister our current Chainlink price provider and register a new one with additional functionalities ahead of a major release. SIP-19 is an improvement proposal and NOT related to any bug. We simply don't want to maintain two versions of Chainlink price provider. The proposal is posted by our new deployer (0x648fC573e25cEbA091D412376d27194F7790fe83). The new Chainlink price provider does two additional functions: - It exposes _getFallbackPrice in order to make it easy to verify and debug. - It makes methods virtual so we can easily override in a future.
